Jill believes in fully lined silk gowns, elegant construction, and unique designs. Every custom dress is hand draped: that means that Jill makes the pattern from scratch for each client. In the studio, there is no searching through racks or being strapped into a sample dress. The process starts with a vision: yours. The making of a couture gown is a collaborative process, and your vision is Jill's inspiration. During your first consultation in her Baltimore studio, Jill will discuss your vision for your wedding dress. She sketches a design that takes into consideration your inspirations, your event, and your personality.
Jill Andrews Gowns is a custom event wear studio in Baltimore, Maryland. Jill Andrews has been making couture gowns for brides, red carpets, and special occasions in her Hampden studio since 2009. For the previous 15 years, she was the head draper at Centre Stage, making theater costumes for everything from Shakespeare to experimental new plays. She specializes in bridal restoration, taking heirloom dresses and making them wearable for another generation.
